Medical Missionary Evangelistic (MME) Training Program
COURSES OF INSTRUCTION
Health Classes
Important Health PrinciplesLearn how to improve and maintain your health and well-being through simple, natural means, and basic health principles. Identify some of the harmful foods that are promoted or that we are exposed to today and discover some healthful substitutes.
Facts About Vegetarianism
This course will cover the different reasons for being a vegetarian. See how vegetarianism stacks up against other diets, and learn how to become a vegetarian.
Nutrition & Proper Eating Habits
Students will be taught the guidelines of proper nutrition and how to avoid the common health problems of the American diet. How to eat and help your digestive system will also be discussed.
Hydrotherapy & Herbs As an Alternative
This course teaches what hydrotherapy is and how even very simple applications can be very beneficial. Students will learn how to apply simple remedies for common ailments like headaches and sore throats.
Bible & Evangelism Classes
Bible Study Course (Part 1)Learn basic Bible principles that can easily be shared with others. Students will learn the importance of studying God's Word, as well as different principles they must apply in order to be successful Bible teachers.
Literature Evangelism Today
Students will learn what is literature evangelism and its importance today. They will also learn how to conduct themselves while out in the field, and how to approach others and cater to their spiritual needs.
Bible Study Course (Part 2)
This is a continuation of the Bible Study Course (Part 1). Students will discover various methods for preparing their own Bible studies, and they will learn different techniques for effective Bible study presentation.
Follow-up Evangelistic Work
This is a continuation of the previous course entitled, Literature Evangelism Today. Students will learn how to make their initial contacts productive and receive additional hints for being successful evangelists.
Individual Classes
Everyone is free to take only specific or individual courses that interest them. Any or all of these courses may be taken by Christians or non-Christians alike.Please email us and let us know of your interest in taking the classes. The classes are currently held in Norcross, Georgia; however, with sufficient interest they can be held elsewhere as well. If interested please contact us. To register for the classes, please email us your name, address, phone number(s), and which class(s) you would like to take. We will then email you back, letting you know of the total cost of the course fees and textbooks and where to send the money, as well as directions to the classes (please let us know where you are coming from). Please register at least one week before each course begins.
Course fees: $40 per course (or $10 per night). No refunds will be given after the first class. Additional supplies may be required for certain courses. (Different payment arrangements can be made for those taking the Certified Medical Missionary Evangelistic [MME] program.)
Course material: The student will need to buy some of the course material. When you register you will be notified concerning what materials you will need to purchase for the specific classes you register for.
CPR Classes: The Institute offers CPR courses periodically to enable MMEs to fulfill their program requirements. These courses certify students in CPR. The courses are open to all. If you are interested in taking CPR, please call or email us to find out when the next courses will be held.
Become a Certified Medical Missionary Evangelist
The requirements for becoming a Certified Medical Missionary Evangelist include taking all the courses listed above, including CPR. A different application form is used when the student is pursuing certification.
