Medical Missionary Evangelistic (MME) Training ProgramCOURSES OF INSTRUCTIONHealth ClassesImportant Health PrinciplesLearn how to improve and maintain your health and well-being through simple, natural means, and basic health principles. Identify some of the harmful foods that are promoted or that we are exposed to today and discover some healthful substitutes. Facts About Vegetarianism Hydrotherapy & Herbs As an Alternative Bible & Evangelism ClassesBible Study Course (Part 1)Learn basic Bible principles that can easily be shared with others. Students will learn the importance of studying God's Word, as well as different principles they must apply in order to be successful Bible teachers. Literature Evangelism Today Bible Study Course (Part 2) Follow-up Evangelistic Work Individual ClassesEveryone is free to take only specific or individual courses that interest them. Any or all of these courses may be taken by Christians or non-Christians alike.Please email us and let us know of your interest in taking the classes. The classes are currently held in Norcross, Georgia; however, with sufficient interest they can be held elsewhere as well. If interested please contact us. To register for the classes, please email us your name, address, phone number(s), and which class(s) you would like to take. We will then email you back, letting you know of the total cost of the course fees and textbooks and where to send the money, as well as directions to the classes (please let us know where you are coming from). Please register at least one week before each course begins. Course fees: $40 per course (or $10 per night). No refunds will be given after the first class. Additional supplies may be required for certain courses. (Different payment arrangements can be made for those taking the Certified Medical Missionary Evangelistic [MME] program.) Course material: The student will need to buy some of the course material. When you register you will be notified concerning what materials you will need to purchase for the specific classes you register for. CPR Classes: The Institute offers CPR courses periodically to enable MMEs to fulfill their program requirements. These courses certify students in CPR. The courses are open to all. If you are interested in taking CPR, please call or email us to find out when the next courses will be held. Become a Certified Medical Missionary EvangelistThe requirements for becoming a Certified Medical Missionary Evangelist include taking all the courses listed above, including CPR. A different application form is used when the student is pursuing certification. SPECIAL CLASSES & LECTURESFrom time to time The Gilead Institute offers additional special seminars and lectures, cooking classes, and weekend courses. These may include such topics as stress reduction, herbs, how to stop smoking, simple remedies, exercise, and nature studies. The Institute also plans on bringing in special speakers for lectures. If you are interested and want to be kept up-to-date as this information becomes available, please email us.ANNUAL CAMPMEETINGS -- Health & Bible TopicsThe Gilead Institute Campmeeting hosts annual Campmeetings in September at beautiful Red Top Mountain State Park in Georgia. All are welcome to this big event.BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSEThe Bible Correspondence Course is a self-paced, 12-lesson series of Bible studies. After a lesson is completed, you will send it to the Institute, it will be graded and returned to you with the next lesson. Please request these lessons by sending us an email with your request and your postal ("snail mail") address.CLASSES ON PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN LIVINGOn Saturday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. a class is held instructing participants on a variety of topics, including but not limited to, how to do evangelism, how to give Bible studies, Question & Answer sessions, practical Christian living, etc. The location of these classes is Lilburn, Georgia. Click here for directions.CERTIFIED NURSES ASSISTANT TRAININGThe Certified Nurses Assistant training program instructs students on how to care for sick and bedridden individuals. Upon successful completion of the course, students are placed on the state registry and can find jobs as Certified Nurses Assistants (CNAs). This program is a great addition to the Medical Missionary Evangelistic (MME) program. Please email us or call 770-270-5535 for more information.
